#GIRLCRUSH - Paige Harker

Tell us about yourself and your blog!

Hi there!

I’m Paige - I go by the name on social media as That Blonde Bikini Girl. I started traveling by myself at 21 years old and since then I have been to 28 countries by myself in 4 years without going into debt once! I believe traveling is the best education for your soul that the world can offer. Maybe people think you need a fortune to travel and the message I want to bring to my readers is that you don’t need to have a lot of money to travel well, so just do it!

I also have a passion for fitness and health, I have many How to stay fit while traveling on a budget related posts. Now, I’m pursuing my dreams and starting my own travel advising business where I help design vacations for anyone looking to experience a bucket list adventure for less!

What inspired you to start your own blog?

My passion for travel and my love for sharing with others how traveling can change your life for the better.

How would you describe your blogging style?

Relatable, fun, informative and very approachable.

Can you tell us about your ideal reader?

Fellow travel enthusiasts, or someone who is looking for advice on how to travel for less. Many people who read my blog are interested in fitness and health too.

How do you structure your days?

I start each day feeling grateful for life, everything I have and all those special people in my life. I spend my mornings dedicated to working on new material or marketing, I’m always listening to podcasts. I go to the gym shortly after. My blog is always at the center of my focus. My intention for the day is How I can serve others and help them today.

Is blogging your profession or hobby?

My profession

What has been your most successful blog post?

How I started traveling and the life lessons I learned.

Describe your writing process from start to finish.

I like to start by telling a story or information that’s personal to me, from there I always want to make sure the readers interests are coming first and how what I’m writing can benefit them, never myself.

Where and how do you work best?

I work best from home, in my pj’s with a cup of green tea right when I wake up and the sun is shining through the windows.

How did you overcome these challenges?

Perseverance

How do you keep motivated through difficult times?

Stay true to what my dreams are, and never give up. Always remember that there is no success without failure.

How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?

No one is me, no one tells the same story as mine. I’m unique in my own way and I speak to my audience in a different way than anyone else can. We are all different everyone has their own story and perspective.

What do you wish you knew when you started your blog?

That it’s a lot more work and time than anyone makes it out to be.. it’s not just a hobby.  It requires dedication and hard work, a lot of hours and focus if you want to make it a career.

Jenna Kutcher's online marketing tools

Stay true to what you believe in, be you, do you and if you’re all those things not everybody will connect with you. but the right people who do are the ones who are worth having stick around!

What surprising lessons have you learned along the way?

Just because everyone else is doing something on social media doesn’t mean I must.

Where would you like your blog to be 1 year from now?

The go to place for travel chicks who want to experience more, whether it’s a new recipe or advice on how to travel somewhere new I hope to inspire everyone who visits my blog.

Where can we find you?
